COOL OFF with this TASTY 🍶DRINK

Enjoy this Ayurvedic Limeade during all your outdoor celebrations this summer to stay hydrated and replenish minerals with natural electrolytes. 

Ingredients:

  • 2 limes (cooling and sour to pacify pitta - lemons are heating and can aggravate pitta.)

  • 2 tsp. organic raw sugar or maple syrup (both sweet to pacify pitta dosha, and maple syrup also contains minerals)

  • 2 pinches pink Himalayan salt (salt replenishes minerals and nutrients.)

  • Optional: Lime slices and/or mint leaves for added cooling and a bit of color

  1. Cut the limes in half and squeeze them into two pint-sized mason jars, or pint glasses, filled with filtered water.

  2. Add the sugar or maple syrup and the salt and stir well.

  3. Add mint and/or a slice of lime to garnish if you choose.

  4. Serve either at room temperature or slightly chilled.
